Video: Kirk Deeter Doubles Up

On Fly Talk, Kirk Deeter, co-author of the new The Little Red Book of Fly Fishing, offers some short video tips on the effectiveness of tandem rigs.

"The best trick of all," he says, "is to use an attractor fly--on the surface or on a nymph rig. I see it over and over when I put on a mask and dive with trout. The fish turns on the gaudy fly, and then eats the more subtle pattern."
