Fly Tying Video: the Parachute Ant

yelton_parachuteant_300.jpgThis week's "working guide's" fly tying video by Michael Yelton features the Parachute Ant, a hi-viz version of the fly pattern than belongs in just about everyone's fly box.

Ants are often blown out of trees into rivers and lake margins. They can appear just about any time of year but they are a classic hot-weather favorite, especially when there are few mayflies around.
