Trapper Rudd, owner of Cutthroat Anglers, a Colorado fly shop, heads into the jungles of the Yucatan with his kayak and finds that the scorpions bite just as hard as the snook. "The scorpion must have been in my Freedom Hawk kayak for this entire time, entirely inconspicuous among the fishing accoutrements, an evolutionary genius of camouflage and stealth.
