On Monday night the Travel Channel will feature Anthony Bourdain talking to Jim Harrison and Russell Chatham and commenting on saddle sores "the size of babies' fists" that he got while trail-riding east of Big Timber. "Highlights include a meal of buffalo, elk and chicken galantine at the Second Street Bistro in Livingston, drinks at the Emigrant Tavern, fried walleye from The Fry House in front of the Yellowstone Gateway Mall and traditional pasties at Pinky's, also in Livingston." Donna Healy and Zach Benoit in the Billings Gazette.

I actually watched the show and for Anthony he was pretty up on Fly Fishing. I missed the start of the part in the shop. Kind of interesting considering how different a person Bourdain really is.
Nikki Metzgar writes about the episode in the Houston Press: "At the hotel bar, Tony drinks with Jim Harrison, who speaks of the "solace of empty vices" and how "good behavior these days is so difficult." At the attached 2nd Street Bistro, the two gourmands feast on buffalo, chicken and elk galantine, pan-fried pork rillettes, and stuffed whitefish on a bed of spinach with white butter sauce and caviar."
