Settling a dispute between guides who felt using more than two flies was hurting the trout population and those who claimed it was a traditional and accepted practice, yesterday the New Mexico Fish and Game Commission "voted unanimously to adopt the new rule limiting anglers fishing in the upper four miles of the San Juan River just below Navajo Dam to the use of two flies."
