More Than Two Flies: Brutal?

New Mexico journalist and blogger Karl Moffatt wrote in last week's New Mexican that the State Game Commission will consider disallowing tandem fly rigs with more than two flies on the state's "quality waters" (e.g. the San Juan). While some anglers say it diverts attention from more important issues, others, including at least one biologist, note that “very few of these fish are going to die from old age."
