New Ivan Doig Novel

Ivan Doig doesn't write fly fishing novels, but he is a favorite of fly fishers who read, perhaps because of his ability to write with such great skill about Montana and its unique personality. "The Whistling Season does what Doig does best: evoke the past and create a landscape and characters worth caring about. Set on the Montana prairie, it's a story any good teacher, or anyone who appreciates learning, should love.
