Colorado Runoff Ends One Month Early

In his weekly fishing report, Ed Dentry notes that an otherwise soggy spring is turning into an almost perfect summer for Colorado fly fishers, who are already finding clear water on most major rivers. "Rivers have been falling, prompting noticeable glee in fly fishers at middle reaches of the Colorado River, for example, who are fishing the famous salmonfly hatch in low, clear currents instead of sitting out the usual murky deluge."
