Wisconsin's Namekagon River

Sam Cook views a remote river through the eyes of angler Steve Therrien, who enjoyes the fact that most folks won't do the walking required to fish in solitude. "Here's a river that has a biomass that's huge. It has fantastic (insect) hatches from March all the way through the end of the year. A hex (hexagenia mayfly) hatch, a brown drake hatch, a sulfur hatch, caddis like you wouldn't believe, midge hatches all the time." In the Duluth News Tribune.
