2006 Miami Boat Show Opens Today

The annual fiberglass-and-gadget fest that is the Miami Boat Show opens today, and the theme of most seminars and displays is, predictably, fishing. "Besides filling the marina slips, showrooms, parking lots and patios of the Miami Beach Convention Center; Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center; and Miamarina at Bayside with more than 3,000 boats, the show is a prime showcase for new innovations in fishing tackle, electronics and techniques."
