Provo River Awakening to Blue Olives

The blue-winged olives coming off on Utah's Provo River are some of the larger ones in years — 16's and 18's — and the fish (and anglers) are diggin' it. "Some call this time of year the 'Awakening' . . . bugs are hatching, fish are becoming more active as a result of the warmer water and fishermen are starting to think about wading in water rather than snow."
