Oregon has at least 4 rivers that qualify as good winter fisheries: the Crooked, Metolius, Fall, and Middle Deschutes. "Each January on the Middle Deschutes, Fall and Metolius rivers comes the Capnia Stonefly hatch, also know as the 'Little Winter Blackstone.'
