If you didn't already know, Phil Monahan is the editor of American Angler magazine (and the editorial director for Fly Tyer and Saltwater Fly Fishing). MidCurrent's been lucky to have Phil contribute a number of Advanced Techniques articles in the past few weeks, and his most recent is "A Mending Primer," an excellent review of mending mechanics written in Phil's typically clear and knowledgeable style.
